Great Exchange Church was founded after an InterVarsity staff member at the University of Delaware noticed students driving to church—there wasn’t one within walking distance that felt relevant to them. As the church launched preview services, its branding felt outdated and disconnected from its college audience. The challenge was to create an identity that resonated with students while staying true to its message:
“ancient faith in a modern world.”

The resulting system blends tradition and modernity through bold color, modern serif typography, and simplified motifs inspired by Christian art and architecture, creating a brand identity that feels both rooted and relevant, honoring tradition while engaging a new generation.
